Who we are
Since its foundation in 2001, Funktor – Consultoria, Lda’s mission is to identify and support new business and investment opportunities in the Polish market by Portuguese entrepreneurs, supporting the resolution of economic, commercial and legal issues in the process of their internationalization.
The object of the activity is to provide consulting services in business management. Our vocation is to stimulate business promoting commercial, technological and investment contacts, as well as to support mutual and fruitful economic relations between Portuguese and Polish companies.
Our offer is directed to companies, institutions and entrepreneurs that develop an economic activity, or are interested in starting it on the Polish market.
The services provided are coordinated by Danuta Kondek – economist, consultant, trainer and author of several publications in economic and commercial field.
Our customers are mainly small and medium-sized companies that need information about potential partners for its business, as well as economic information. In recent years we have also developed a consultancy activity in the commercial sphere, investment monitoring, human resources management, commercial representations, and linguistic support.
Danuta Kondek
Master’s Degree in Economics and Foreign Trade Organization, obtained at the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.
Former coordinator of the Professional Training Center of the Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Porto and later, at the same entity, was responsible for promoting Portuguese companies in the German market and other business projects.
Is the CEO of “Funktor – Consultoria para os Negócios e Gestão, Lda.” and partner at “Sigma Team Consulting, SA”.
Consultant in business management, marketing and internationalization for several Business Associations and companies.
Certified trainer and consultant with intervention in the last 30 years in the organization, coordination and execution of multiple professional training actions and development of several projects of internationalization, promoted by various entities and business associations.
Guest University Professor at Coimbra Business School.
Speaker at several conferences and seminars.
Translator of economic, legal, and other documents. Collaborator of several institutions (Poland Embassy, Courts and Public Ministry of Portugal, Business Associations, Institutes, private companies, etc.).

Regional representative in Porto of the Poland-Portugal Chamber of Commerce. Awarded in 2009 with the first prize of the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski Foundation, given by the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland and the Minister of Economy, for the contributions made in the scope of economic collaboration between Poland and abroad.

This guide, edited by António Vilar & Associados, includes relevant texts and documentation, within the business perspective in Poland promoted by Portuguese companies, in which Danuta Kondek had the privilege of collaborating.

This book had the collaboration of 10 invited experts who shared their knowledge and experiences on several marketing application areas that currently stand out in the Portuguese economy, including Danuta Kondek from Funktor- Consultoria, Lda, who wrote the chapter dedicated to exports. Marketing Highlights is an example of the close connection between university professors and executives, as well as universities and companies. |
Dicionário Polaco-Português
By invitation of Porto Editora, Danuta Kondek provided proofreading, updating and reformulation of several words in the edition of the first Polish-Portuguese and Portuguese-Polish dictionary. The dictionary, which is part of the collection of academic dictionaries, is an instrument to support everyone who wants to learn the Polish and Portuguese languages.
